A complete high-speed fibre-to-the-premise internet solution for developments! That’s the message VostroNet conveyed at this year’s 2019 Urbanity Conference at Howard Smith Wharves, Brisbane.
After a successful conference last year, VostroNet returned to Urbanity to present the latest in network connectivity. Hosted by The Urban Developer team, the event brought together members of the industry to explore ‘Visionary projects and inspired journeys’; the theme of the 2019 Conference.
For VostroNet, it was a chance to expand connections in the industry, and present our vision of what networks will look like in the future. It was also a chance to show the innovative technology VostroNet uses for these solutions.
VostroNet is a leading provider of high-speed internet and fibre networks to hotels, co-working spaces, student accommodation and residential apartments across the Asia Pacific. We are both the infrastructure owner and network provider, controlling and owning thousands of kilometres of fibre across Australia.
Urbanity saw guest developers speak about future living within new tower developments and gave a glimpse into what this may look like. Towers will continue to become their own small communities, and thus will require an integrated network.
As the internet of things (IoT) grows, residents in these buildings will consume more data over a wider range of devices. Networks need to cater for this growth and ensure the needs of future years are met.
VostroNet is leading the way for this change, deploying a 10Gbps to each development. We use 5G compatible infrastructure and the latest Wi-Fi 6 Aruba wireless access points to common and public areas.
Urbanity 2019 provided an insightful experience into the property industry. It was also an excellent opportunity for VostroNet to engage with members of the industry to talk about future-proof networks moving ahead.
