On the 19th and 20th of September, VostroNet attended the Urbanity 2018 conference hosted by The Urban Developers at the Royal International Convention Centre Brisbane. It was an opportunity for members of the property industry to come together to ‘unlock the potential of cities in the Asia-Pacific region’.
The event saw many prominent industry members share their knowledge and experience from their respective roles, and share their beliefs on what urban areas will look like in future years. For Soheil Abedian (Sunland Group) and Iwan Sunito (Crown Group), it was an opportunity to converse on the roles and responsibilities they share in designing and building the future of urban landscapes, along with some of their more personal anecdotes from their younger years.
For VostroNet, it was an opportunity to convey how a high-speed internet network is instrumental in connecting cities and to meet the growing demand for data. Users require speeds capable of supporting numerous devices, unlimited data plans to cater for high levels of downloads and the ability to be connected outside of their apartment to common areas and public spaces.
VostroNet deploys its own high-speed data network to residential towers, hotels, student accommodation and public Wi-Fi in Australia and New Zealand.
